DTP8 series dual output inductive position sensor

To address emerging demand of drive-by-wire technology adopted on motorcycles and scooters, APEX launches DTP8 series dual output inductive position sensor that includes below features.

1. Free of Electromagnetic Interference. 
The sensor meets ISO 11452-8(immunity to magnetic fields). Even a magnet field is nearby, the sensor output still meets spec. to be totally free of electromagnetic interference. 

2. Water resistance
The sensor could meet up to IP69K water resistance via non-contact technology so it could work well under outdoor or harsh environment

3. Long-life cycle
Thanks to non-contact technology, the sensor itself won’t have any worn-out during rotation compared to contacting technology like potentiometer. Therefore, it could meet minimal 2 million cycles of rotation for standard model, and 10 million cycles of rotation for high-performance model.

4. Dual output
The sensor is designed for critical application that includes demand sensing of vehicle acceleration. Therefore, it adopts dual output features in terms of power and output signals. The two outputs contain correlation formula, so it could be used to detect if electric output is correct all the time. The output curve contains most common cross and diverge type, while customization is available upon request. 

5. Accurate output precision 
The sensor is highly accurate in output precision. It could meet 2% linearity for standard models, and 1% or 0.5% linearity for high performance models to meet or surpass industrial requirement.
